About Cotswold Blooms
Cotswold Blooms was established in 2011, specialising in British Flowers. Based in Cheltenham, covering the Cotswolds and surrounding region. The primary focus is weddings, where Cotswold Blooms aim is to provide an excellent service and deliver high quality work on all of their designs.
Whenever possible, flowers and foliage are sourced from British growers which have personally been visited. Being British, the flowers do fewer miles. This gives a longer life and results in a lower carbon foot print. By specialising in the use of British flowers, wedding designs can be kept in touch with the seasons giving varied and exciting displays all year round.
Company Founder – Laura McLellan
Qualified as an advanced florist, Laura spent a number of years working for a well known florist based in central London. Working on high profile corporate events, large celebrations, weddings, film sets and film premiers lead to a wealth of skills and knowledge.
Laura took a year out of the industry, to travel round south-east Asia, Japan and Australia. This was invaluable to see different styles and designs which has influenced Laura’s unique style. It also helped shape the idea of a business that would focus on being fair and sustainable.
Returning to the Cotswolds, the area in which she grow up, Cotswold Blooms was set up to offer the choice of using flowers and foliage from sustainable sources.
